History is a slippery fish. The history of 490 43rd Street is no exception. When was it built? Who were the original occupants? What was the neighborhood like?  What’s up with the loading dock next door?  If you’re curious to learn more about the history of the building we all spend so much time in, then please join us for a fun and informative lunchtime conversation–old pictures and newspaper clippings included!

Temescal Works member Cliff Mayotte is an interdisciplinary artist, writer, journalist, and oral historian.
